Garden Reach Institute for Rehabilitation and Research called GRIRR is a non-profit organization working for Marginalized Community in Kolkata . Established in 2014 in Garden Reach , Kolkata , West Bengal as Inclusive Education center for the children with disabilities , we have grown into an organization offering comprehensive integrated support and services for most vulnerable children through our initiatives in inclusive education and physiotherapy rehabilitation center for Children with disabilities , Community Based Rehabilitation , Education and Training , Slum Development programme .
Inclusive Education & Physiotherapy center of excellence for Disabled is our key initiative to provide special education and physiotherapy services to children with disabilities . The center is an integrated support unit having physiotherapy facilities , outreach clinics , inclusive school for children with disabilities and small orthopedic workshop . Situated on the Garden Reach at Ram Nagar Lane , near Dhankhetti Bazar is landmark in the area.
We support children from the most underprivileged backgrounds to become self-reliant and enjoy their right to a dignified life . All our children are supported until they complete their education (in some cases courses like Basic Computer , Speaking English ) and placed in suitable jobs . Garden Reach Institute for The Rehabilitation and Research provides education , health care , counseling services and rehabilitation to Community children , children living in the slums , poor children with disabilities , children affected by seasonal migration and orphans through its various programs . We also provide professional and technical training to adolescents and youths .
